Welcome to Docudent.ai. These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Docudent website located at https://docudent.ai and all associated pages, features, content, and services (collectively, the "Site"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old if you reside in the EU or UK) to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your Use of the Site

By accessing the Site, these Terms apply to your use. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit their use of the Site.

You must not:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

  • Use the Site to transmit unsolicited commercial communications (spam).

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or connected systems.

  • Introduce malicious software, viruses, or other harmful material to the Site.

  • Scrape, data-mine, or systematically extract data from the Site without our prior written consent.

  • Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to access or interact with the Site.

  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

4. Services & Platform Terms

If you register for a Docudent account and use our document storage and file sharing platform, your use is also governed by our full Terms of Service, available at https://docudent.ai/terms-of-service. In the event of a conflict between these Website Terms and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will prevail for platform-related matters.

5. Sales, Delivery & Refund Policy

5.1 Subscriptions

Docudent offers paid subscription plans for access to premium storage and features. All prices are displayed on our pricing page at https://docudent.ai/pricing and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at checkout. We will automatically renew your subscription at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

5.3 Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. If you are unsatisfied within 14 days of your initial purchase or upgrade, contact us at legal@docudent.ai for a full refund. After this period, refunds are not provided except as required by applicable law. EU/UK consumers have additional rights under local consumer protection law.

5.4 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

  • PayPal

  • Bank transfer (enterprise plans only)

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. Docudent does not store your full payment card details.

6. User-Generated Content & Comments

If you post comments, reviews, or other content on the Site ("User Content"), you are solely responsible for that content. By posting User Content, you grant Docudent a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Site.

You must not post User Content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, or obscene.

  • Infringes any third party's intellectual property rights. Copyright infringement in comments is strictly prohibited.

  • Contains spam, advertising, or unsolicited promotional material.

  • Impersonates any person or organization.

  • Contains malicious code or links to harmful websites.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these rules at our sole discretion, without notice.

7. Protected Content & Member Assets

Certain areas of the Site may be accessible only to registered members ("Member Areas"). You must not share, distribute, or publish links to protected Member Area assets—including documents, images, and videos—without explicit permission from Docudent or the content owner. Unauthorized sharing of protected content may result in immediate account termination.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Content

All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and the selection and arrangement thereof—is the property of Docudent or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use our content for any commercial purpose without our express prior written consent.

8.2 Trade Marks

"Docudent" and the Docudent logo are trade marks of Docudent, Inc. Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use our trade marks, logos, or brand features.

8.3 Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any content on the Site infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to:

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. When you access a third-party site, that site's own terms and privacy policy will apply.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. 11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DOCUDENT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you in connection with these Terms or the Site shall not exceed $100 USD.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.

If you reside in a country that grants consumers the right to bring disputes before local courts (such as EU member states), this clause does not affect those rights.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Site or by sending an email to the address associated with your account at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Site after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may announce changes via an announcement bar or promotional pop-up on the Site to ensure visibility.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from the rest of the Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
